Steven playing and relaxing too!

Steven played with the dogs and found some time to relax and decompress after the long school year ~ We are both gearing up for the move coming up in a few short weeks... There are lots of things to arrange yet but we feel good about the progress so far ~

Relaxing at home

Here is a new area we created above the house. We love to relax in this spot and reflect on our day ~ It is quite comfortable. The evenings are warm and the stars are incredible! We hear birds chatter, mosquitos buzz and breezes blowing through the trees around us. Thankfully we have lots of mosquito repellent! Steven has been working on the house to make it beautiful. I have planted flowers in pots to add some color. We have painted the exterior of the house too... It is exciting to see how the house changes with just a few updates!

Reflections

Reflections... of this past year and our life together! So many thoughts run through my head ~ How can I change and reformat my approach to life, change the way I interact with people and make a difference ? These are a few of the thoughts that run rampant in my brain. I sit still to let the good vibrations resonate within my soul ~ It is all good!

Play Dogs Play!

Sadie and Woofer played and played some more all weekend! They just LOVE to play fetch and swim. They both rested during the weekend too! The water is clear and cool -- a refreshing break from the heat! What a life!

Here is a picture of the lake Steven and I camped at last weekend. We named it Honey-Moon lake as the moon was almost full and it was absolutely gorgeous in the evening. We had a beautiful weekend together reminiscing about this past year (our first year of marriage) and the year to come with the girls (Kelsey and Heather) joining us soon ~ We are so blessed!

Time to Breathe...

Steven and I just returned on Monday from our annual camping trip to the mountains behind Truckee. It is beautiful country as you can see from the photos we took ~ It is truly breathtaking...
